Brave Spark won the business following a three-way pitch

Virgin Experience Days, the UK’s leading provider of experience gifts, has appointed MSQ's creative studio Brave Spark to handle its integrated creative account.

Brave Spark won the business following a three-way pitch process and will now be responsible for leading Virgin Experience Days’ creative activity, including TV and digital work.

The agency will work closely with Virgin Experience Days’ media planning and buying agency, MNC, with initial work focused on promoting the business’ offers as the perfect gifts this Christmas.

Established over 30 years ago, Virgin Experience Days now offers more than 4,000 incredible adventures across the UK and beyond, with experiences ranging from theatre trips to spa & beauty breaks, fine dining experiences to flying lessons. The business initially started in 1988 as Acorne Sports Ltd, before joining the Virgin family in 2002.

Rob Drake, CEO of Brave Spark, said, “In the current climate people are putting more value on days out and life-affirming experiences than ever before. That makes it a really exciting time for Virgin Experience Days and we’re delighted to be able to join them on their journey, helping more people make memories that will last a lifetime.”

Christoph Homann, CEO at Virgin Experience Days, said, “As we continue to offer more and more memorable experiences, it’s vital we have an agency who can help us connect with customers and bring the breadth of product range to life. In Brave Spark we have an agency bursting with new ideas and a clear understanding of how to engage effectively with our customers in the right channels.”

Part of MSQ, the UK’s fastest-growing marketing group, Brave Spark has enjoyed a significant period of growth throughout 2023, winning new business from brands including Which?, Trivento and Leeds Building Society. The agency also recently appointed Rebecca Vickery as its first managing director and Juliet McLaren as its executive creative director, and in August opened its first international office in New York.
