Food and nutrition giant, Kerry, the Kerry GAA’s decades long sponsors, have teamed up with creative agency, Verve|Showrunner, to put together a short film that celebrates everyone involved in making Kerry GAA what it is - from the kit handlers, to the coaches, the fans, and, of course, the players.
The two and a half minute documentary style piece, titled Pride of Kerry, finds the common ground for Kerry GAA and Kerry: their county pride, which sees them push themselves as much as they can for the sake of Kerry. The piece talks to everybody who makes the Kerry GAA team tick over asking where the pride comes from that makes them go the extra mile. It explores why GAA is such a bedrock for communities through the Kingdom, bringing people together, inspiring the youth, and creating joyful memories that stay with the people of Kerry their entire lives.
The campaign was created by Verve|Showrunner alongside LOST Studios, with directors Nic Cargin and Cian Hamilton. Its release perfectly tied in with the lead up to the All Ireland final, where the Kerry team took on rivals Dublin, giving the piece great traction.
