Gold trophies and nominees will be awarded to masterpieces of television in 19 categories

Just two weeks after the Venice Film Festival, a distinguished panel of international jurors will convene in Venice for the Venice TV Award. Recognising outstanding achievements in television, the award is supported by ACT (Association of Commercial TV), EGTA (European Group of Television Advertising), and The IMZ International Music + Media Centre.

“Television awards like the Venice TV Award recognize and reinforce the industry’s dedication to delivering high-quality content,” says Grégoire Polad, director general of the Association of Commercial Television in Europe.

"Being a juror is always an incredible experience—getting to see such a diverse and compelling range of television storytelling," shares Alan Holland, head of specialist factual productions at BBC Studios.

The competition is open to broadcasters, production companies, cable networks, streaming platforms, and other industry players. Eligible submissions must have premiered between January 1st, 2024, and September 20th, 2025, with an entry deadline of June 30th.

A jury of top television professionals will select winners across a broad spectrum of categories, including Documentary, Best Series, Best TV Movie, News, Performing Arts, Comedy, Children/Youth, Reality TV, Light Entertainment, Program Promotion, Branded Entertainment, Sport, Best Of Technical High Quality, Cross-Platform Programming, New Talent, Best Soap/Telenovela, Animation, Cinematography, and Direction.

We are happy to support the Venice TV Award. Great content is a must for the future of our industry so happy to acknowledge the merit of those who produce it,“ stated Katty Roberfroid director general, EGTA, European Group of Television Advertising.

Additionally, emerging talents from across the globe will have a chance to shine at the Venice TV Award’s Young Creative Initiative, held in collaboration with Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti, where they can showcase their work to leading television professionals.

Winner will be announced End of September. Visit here to enter.
