Leading independent agency Venables Bell + Partners announced today that Jasmine Clark has joined the company as its head of strategy. In her new role, she will spearhead strategic efforts across all of VB+P's holistic brand-building disciplines to develop exceptional work that drives outsized impact for clients. Jasmine assumes the role from Gavin Jones, who was recently named managing director.
"This is a pivotal time for our brand partners as they face a multitude of opportunities and challenges in today's rapidly changing world," said Kate Jeffers, partner, and president, VB+P. "Jasmine joins us with a wealth of experience, a distinct perspective, infectious optimism, strong leadership skills, and the drive to help create powerful solutions to complex business issues. We are thrilled to have her on our team and can't wait for all she will help us accomplish together."
Jasmine most recently was co-head of strategy at Preacher, where she led the strategy department and oversaw work for clients including E&J Gallo, StreetEasy, and Jamba. During this time, she formalised the agency's strategic process, enhanced its new business approach to marry both the 'sell' and the company's soul, and achieved great things on her clients' behalf. The latter included helping to solidify High Noon as the #1 premium hard seltzer, which also led to the addition of two new E&J Gallo brands to Preacher's client roster. Before co-leading the department, Jasmine was a strategy director at Preacher, spearheading work for clients TopGolf, Lucky Jeans, and Houston Endowment. Earlier in her career, she held strategy director and senior strategist posts at Mother New York and worked with various brands, including Stella Artois and Target. While at Mother, Jasmine helped earn Silver Effie Awards for clients, Virgin Mobile and Sour Patch Kids clients, and she was recognised as one of Business Insider's 30 under 30: Most Creative People In Advertising.
"I am really excited to join VB+P, especially at this time of incredible momentum for the agency," said Jasmine. "I look forward to partnering with the entire team to build upon the company's legacy of incredible creativity, fuelled by a fierce commitment to independence."
