Production service specialists Twentyfour Seven, working with Coty Studios and French production company Solab, were commissioned to orchestrate this massive TV, print and digital treatment for client Hugo Boss.
The creative comprised forty-two TV commercial vignettes plus print and digital footage shot over two days.
The creative, featuring Hugo Boss brand ambassadors, footballers Raphaël Varane, Radamel Falcao, Harry Kane, Toni Kroos and Sergi Roberto, involved director Romain Chassaing (supported by his award-winning DOP and production designer) shooting across three studio sets in Madrid, supported by a 150 strong production team.
Twentyfour Seven provided full pre-production to wrap services, including the local casting and talent body doubles. The challenge for this shoot was the coordination between the different sets and shoots (print, digital and TVC) and their strong relationship with production company Solab certainly played a key role in building a smooth production schedule around the limited time available for the VIP players.
Twentyfour Seven worked with the art department and construction teams for a month in pre-production on the project and sets, which included an Astroturf and real pitch, various set builds including an 80 LED panel display.
They also had five prep days at the studio for construction and pre-light. The three day shoot included one day of dress rehearsal with a full crew and body doubles (researched and provided by Twentyfour Seven where they precisely marked out every movement), with the lead talent then present for a further two days.
Bea Cañete, producer, Twentyfour Seven, comments: “Our brief from the director was all about glamour, elegance, rhythm and precision. It was difficult for the footballers as they needed to play dressed in suits and wearing shoes! We shot across three big studios in order to accommodate the creative for this campaign. The largest studio was not big enough to stage the four sets we had to build, so we allocated the TVC to the main Studio (1500m2) and then print & digital elements to two additional studios. It was a fantastic project to bring to life."
Anne-Laure Godinho, Line Producer, Solab, commented: “Thanks a lot to 247 for the great work on this job, it was epic and fun. Looking forward to the next one”.
