Truant London Hires Lucy Austin to Lead New Business Charge

Truant London have raided the offices of CPB London to headhunt Lucy Austin as their first New Business Director. Austin was Head of New Business and Marketing at CPB London, and had previously held senior new business and marketing roles at Profero, MullenLowe UK and AnalogFolk. 

The hire is part of Truant’s new business and marketing drive as it seeks to further attract clients to join its growing roster that currently includes PizzaExpress, Royal Caribbean and PepsiCo.  

Austin will be tasked with taking Truant’s Creative Disobedience proposition to market, and will report to Truant London’s CEO, Chris Jefford as well as leading the agency's internal marketing team and content efforts.

Truant is making the move twelve months after placing 1st in Campaigns Best Places to Work and being ranked once again in the Top 50 creative agencies.  Wholly independent, the agency has built its reputation on helping brands get an unfair share of attention, with a speciality in using music as a key weapon.
