Trett Films has partnered with Ian Fleming Publications to offer Bond fans an exclusive glimpse into the latest James Bond adventure. Titled "On His Majesty's Secret Service," this latest novel follows 007 attempting to stop an assassination attempt on King Charles -all set against the backdrop of the coronation.
Originally released in hardback last year, the version of the book has new content including a Q&A with the author, now published in a new paperback release. Authored by the acclaimed writer and UEA alumnus Charlie Higson, known not only for his ‘Young Bond’ novels but also for his sketch series "The Fast Show” with Paul Whitehouse.
As well as offering fans a thrilling new instalment in the Bond saga, proceeds from the book will go towards supporting the National Literacy Trust, furthering the cause of literacy and education across the nation.
"We wanted to celebrate this new instalment in the world of literary Bond, but it was also a great project to work on knowing the proceeds were going to a good cause," remarked Matty Trett, creative director at Trett Films.
Josh, managing director of Trett Films, stated, "As a lifelong Bond fan, collaborating on this project has been a dream come true. Having grown up immersed in Charlie's Young Bond books when I was younger, this new story represents a contemporary version of the character so I was honoured to be part of this book’s release”.
Trett Films is known for its commitment to delivering story-based and emotive videos and films to businesses local to the region but also further afield. On this project, the two brothers use their filmmaking skills to bring the New Bond novel to life.
