Tourism Ireland has re-appointed Publicis London to develop its global creative work, and has appointed OMD as its global media agency, after a process involving Creativebrief. Both agencies will support Tourism Ireland in marketing the island of Ireland as a holiday destination to a global audience.
The appointments follow a statutory requirement to re-tender for these services every seven years.
Nick Farnhill, CEO of Publicis London and POKE said: “We’ve loved working with Tourism Ireland for the past seven years and are enormously proud of the partnership we’ve created. We’re thrilled to have been awarded the opportunity to continue working together and showcase all that the Island of Ireland has to offer and bring even more new visitors to this exceptional country.”
Guy Marks, CEO of OMD EMEA said of the appointment: “Ireland is vibrant, exciting and cultural destination and tourism is an incredibly important sector with 10.65 million visitors each year spending approximately €5.78 billion. We are delighted to be working with Tourism Ireland in partnership with Publicis London to deliver next generation communications.”
