Ramaa Mosley
Ramaa Mosley made her first film at age sixteen, the documentary We Can Make a Difference, about global pollution’s effect on children. The doc was screened around the world and went on to win a United Nations’ Global 500 Award in Geneva, Switzerland. That same year, Ramaa enrolled at Bennington College in Vermont, where she studied theater, literature and photography. Upon graduating Ramaa was hired by the Dutch government to direct a documentary on the Aymara Indians of Bolivia. Within months,
Ramaa had seven offers to sign as a director with the top commercial companies and soon was directing music videos for bands such as,B-52s, Brendan Benson, Creed and Five for Fighting. She has since been directing award winning national and international commercials for clients such as Adidas, Powerade, PGA, Pedigree, Walmart and Espn. and has just finished posting spots for McDonald,and Microsoft Kinect.
After having directed a series of short films which won her best director at the First Glance Film, Abu Dhabi and Beijing Film festival, Ramaa is now in post production for her first feature film “The Brass Teapot”, starring Juno Temple and Michael Angarano, based on the comic book of the same title.
