With a mix of wit, sarcasm, and talent, Advertising Week Latam, Archer Troy, and Oriental Films present Welcome Workalovers.
The new creative campaign is a session and a therapy of help for all of us who suffer and love advertising. It is also for all those professionals who love good work - work that is fun, that connects, and that generates conversation. Content that doesn't interrupt; it entertains.
This year, Advertising Week Latam became an ode to those who live and breathe creativity, showing that even amid adversity, there will always be a way to find a solution because good work is worth it. It is an intelligent way, too, to face many of the challenges we have as an industry, each of us who are part of it. And the fact is that reality often surpasses fiction.
With all the production values, codes, and cinematographic language, the story presents a very particular mini-movie. You leave us with memorable characters, great storytelling, and funny insights. With stellar casting to bring this story to life, Bienvenidos Workalovers featured the talents of actors such as Memo Villegas (Narcos: Mexico, Backdoor) and Armando Hernandez (Amarte Duele, El Cesar), who bring an authentic and relatable touch.
The campaign also includes Minnie West (Luis Miguel: La Serie. Me gusta, pero me Asusta), Nashla Aguilar (La Rosa de Guadalupe, Como dice el Dicho), Bárbara Islas (Como dice el Dicho, La Piloto), and Nicole Vale (Atrévete a Soñar, Guerra de Vecinos), who add diversity and freshness to the campaign.
In addition, content creators such as Paco de Miguel, known for his character 'Miss Lety Mondragón' in Lety, la Secretaria, and his appearance in LOL: Last One Laughing Mexico, joined the show.
Add in Dani Valle, whose humour and creativity on social media have resonated with a young and growing audience. These talents reflect the authenticity and irreverent tone of 'Bienvenidos Workalovers.'
In this way, the independent Mexican agency once again demonstrates its expertise and unique conceptualisation, 'FILMVERTISING'.
A way of working to create cinema that looks like advertising or advertising that looks like cinema.
Advertising Week Latam 2024 will take place from 5th to 7th November at the Papalote Museo del Niño, the perfect setting to celebrate the creativity and hard work of the advertising community in Mexico and Latin America.
