This Android Spot from Droga5 Celebrates Unusual Animal Friends. And Wow, It Is Cute

Android and Droga5 have teamed up to create a true homage to one of the most life-affirming phenomena the Internet has to offer – videos of unusual animal friends (what? You mean you haven’t sat up till 3am watching back-to-back clips of chimp and bulldog hijinks? Maybe that’s just us then). Their new campaign, ‘Friends Furever’, features some of the globe’s most adorable partnerships in order to promote the diversity and flexibility of the Android operating system.

Ending with the tagline ‘Be Together. Not the Same’ the spot celebrates the customisation and individuality of Android.

Kittens cuddling up with ducklings, sheep frolicking with rhinos and elephants, cockatoos feeding spaghetti to huskies – yes the film is, as we hear the youngsters like to say, totes adorbs. Reinforcing the idea, the spot’s soundtrack ‘Oo De Lally’ by Roger Miller comes from Disney’s Robin Hood, a movie that features one of the greatest interspecies partnerships ever.
