We’ve all been there- you board an airplane just in time to sit through hours of listening to a baby cry - you know you aren’t the only one asking yourself, “when will it stop?” In a new spot for Kleenex directed by hybrid director / creative director Chris Dealy of creative content studio The Collective @ LAIR answers just that.
Chris' new spot is part of a larger Kleenex campaign called “Everybody Needs One," reminding us of the empathy we should feel for the parents when that happens, and how a little support can go a long way- in this case, a Kleenex.
Dealy explains this short but sweet spot: “We wanted the viewer to feel like they were right there on the plane with the crying baby. We wanted tight shots to communicate the closeness and the intimacy of the situation, while also capturing just what tough spot the parents were in with regards to the other passengers. The spot is down to earth, humanistic.”
This campaign is on the heels of spots Chris recently directed for Tyson Foods and Sam's Club.
