Editors' Choice: Jung von Matt clones feline memes in brilliant spot for Netto
Jung von Matt has launched a feline-filled spot for German supermarket Netto.
Continuing its strong form for supermarket brands - the agency was behind the John Lewis-beating Christmas spot for Netto parent company Edeka - ‘Netto-Katzen’ has already racked up more than 5 million views in just over a week.
The spot is set in a beautifully intricate, miniature model of a Netto store and features Keyboard Cat working the checkout, a gawking surprised kitty and various other felines made famous via memes.
The spot was directed by Iconoclast’s Brian Lee Hughes, who dons a cat suit in the making of video.
