3angrymen produce ambitious new film for The Scouts’ transformative rebrand

This week the Scouts have launched their new strategy, which will reflect their commitment to preparing the half a million young people who attend each week with the skills they need for life.

As part of this, 3angrymen were commissioned by the Scouts to produce a rebrand film that shows how the practical, character and employability skills learnt in Scouts are instrumental to a young person’s future.

“Having worked with the Scouts previously, this project especially excited us because we knew it had to go deeper than the fun activities that we’ve shot in the past”, said Thom Wood, Managing Director at 3angrymen.

“For the Scouts to trust us to tell a more personal story that begins with a young person leaving the organisation and going out into the world, was a really brave decision that gave us creative freedom to explore the human qualities that lie at the heart of Scouting”.

The film tells the story of a young woman called Nat, using the skills she learned from the organisation to deal with life's challenges. Female participation within the Scouts has grown significantly over recent years and 3angrymen saw this as an opportune time to cast a female lead in the film.
