The One Show has announced the finalists in Design, Intellectual Property & Products, Public Relations and Responsive Environments. There were 427 finalists from 34 countries, selected from 21,844 total entries.
“Field Trip to Mars” by McCann/New York and Framestore/New York for Lockheed Martin led the way in the third round of finalists with nine. The following submissions tied with four finalists apiece:
“Art with Watson” by Ogilvy/New York for IBM
“Honda. Great Journey.” By Dentsu, Mori, Creative Power Unit, all in Tokyo, for Honda Motor Company
“The Dancing Letters” by McCann World Group India/Mumbia for Maharashtra Dyslexia Association
“Nike Unlimited Stadium” by BBH/Singapore for Nike
The U.S. had the most finalists, followed by Japan (71), a longtime Design powerhouse, Canada (25) and Germany (24).
This year also saw the introduction of vertical markets. Automotive registered the most finalists with 30, followed by Tourism & Travel (27) and Fashion & Clothing (22).

The One Show will take place at Cipriani Wall Street on May 10th and May 12th during Creative Week, the preeminent festival celebrating the intersection of advertising, design and the arts. The ADC Annual Awards will take place on Monday, May 8th.
