The Mill has announced the continued expansion of its award-winning colour grading services to San Francisco, welcoming creative shop Misfit as its newest virtual outpost.
Offering grading sessions with Mill colourists through outposts like Misfit enables clients to set the look of a grade in one studio and finish it in another, as if the colourist is in the same room. Agencies, directors and directors of photography can work in real time, remote grading anywhere in the world and giving clients the flexibility to handpick the colourist that best suits the project.
Thatcher Peterson, executive producer of colour at The Mill in Los Angeles comments, “Working with Misfit allows us the opportunity to further strengthen our client relationships as our network continues to expand. We’re thrilled to launch our partnership and look forward to many successful collaborations ahead.”
Misfit was recently distinguished as “Best of San Francisco” at the 2015 AICE Awards.
The Mill’s network spans London, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, with remote grading spanning across Europe in France (Paris), Germany (Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg), Norway (Oslo) and Portugal (Lisbon), and across the US in Atlanta, Austin, Kansas City, Miami, Portland, San Francisco and Virginia.
