Seven Sunday Films and Dentsu (Indonesia) have just collaborated on the latest Suzuki Grand Vitara spot. The film was directed by In-house director BRAINTRUST aka RLV and was shot in various stunning locations across Jakarta.
Diaz Pradipta, ACD, Dentsu says: “As the Suzuki Vitara is the ‘flagship’ SUV, we intended to take a different approach for our film, telling the story more emotionally and engaging with the audience by enhancing their senses, where the film speaks about how this car will always answer all the challenges ahead and take you to a whole new level of driving sensation. If we’re talking about expectation, of course, we wanted to raise the bar and deliver the best output. Having said that, we were very fortunate to collaborate with Seven Sunday Films, being one of the best production houses in town! The first time we connected, RLV (Braintrust) as the director for this project understood the task and shared the same vision with us, he even wanted to really push the boundaries to bring the concept alive! He brought Pascal Remond as the DOP, a world-class cinematographer with a ton of experience handling global automotive brands, not to mention the other top talents involved in this project, overall it was an exciting journey, and we’re very happy with the results.”
“Seven Sunday Film provided some ‘out of the box’ ideas from a very professional team. Suzuki has made more than ten high class TVCs and product video’s over the last seven years. When you are looking for perfection in creativity and execution, Seven Sunday Film’s always delivered for us,” says Harold Donnel, head of brand development and marketing research and IT network, Suzuki Indonesia.
RLV (BRAINTRUST), director, Seven Sunday Films added: ”This was a very interesting project, taking a video profile and turning it into something more thematic and edgy. Kudos to the agency and client, for their trust and willingness to take risks and push the creative envelope. Was such a pleasure working on this film. Cant thank the Seven Sunday’s team enough and my friend and DP Pascal Remond for brilliant pictures.”
