The Launch of the VFX Studio SCENESIS Pictures

In the centre of Paris in the busy Marais area, home to the best French Production and Post Production companies, SCENESIS Pictures can be found nestled away.

SCENESIS is a true creative home for 3D, VFX, compositing and colour - guaranteeing best in class Post Production for TV, Film, Advertising and Video Game content. 

The boutique VFX Studio SCENESIS Pictures, has crafted its interior space design and client experience with the same meticulous, passionate approach as they do on all their creative work.

The SCENESIS team see themselves as Digital DOP’s. Crafting such real world architectural environments for all projects with the finest in lighting and detailing from their SCENESIS archive. To create the most hyper real, most natural, most involved CG environments. When SCENESIS do their job properly they become completely invisible.

SCENESIS has a truly family rooted story. Cedric Mignon founded SCENESIS in 2020 with close support from head of production and sister Laetitia Michetti with a priority in delivering the finest in 3D / VFX solutions.

They offer a wide breadth of services to meet all projects needs in house. Creating a boutique studio that ensures a relaxed, family feel working environment for clients and the whole team to enjoy, as well as designing a beautiful space in which the artists can truly create their best work. 

With a wider talented studio of over twenty full time team members, which can be increased significantly if necessary depending on the project, SCENESIS’s talent includes: founder and creative director Cedric Mignon, head of VFX Mathieu Legros, who has such creative highlights as having worked on the VFX for the hugely popular Netflix series Lupin, as well as the American period drama, Lionsgate series The Serpent Queen. Other key SCENESIS team members include: Franck Boyer - CG supervisor, Thierry Beaumel - workflow manager, Jimmy Laplaige - goom artist supervisor, Jonathan Romain - senior CG generalist, Sylvain Jardin - head of IT, Mary Rogers - 2D artist, Pascal Gaubertier - houdini artist et Antoine Duhé - senior modelling and sculpt artist.

The remote workflow set up at SCENESIS ensures the team are set up to respond to all International client briefs working with a safe, fast and effective approach. Moreover, a distinctive CG workflow empowers the SCENESIS team, leveraging exceptional expertise in physics, to provide high-quality 3D right from the start, for optimal results. This not only reduces the need for extensive compositing operations but also ensures the efficient realisation of the most lifelike creations.
