The announcement of the Golden Award of the Montreux winners 2020 recognises the great work done in the last twelve months. The award honours companies and individuals responsible for creating excellence in advertising, digital and events, reflecting in the cultural environment of television and music the fact that communication is part of the global world of creativity.
Since 1989, the awards have been the prelude to the recognition of creative excellence. The ad of the year 'The Cradle' from Energy BBDO Chicago was rewarded with three Gold Medals in Digital, Film and TV. In total, 41 Gold Medals were awarded in Media, Digital, Film, Design, Event and Talent.
The Talent Award has a global reputation as a contest for students and young professionals working on innovative projects in the field of advertising, e-contents and design. This award - launched in partnership with Swiss Media - recognises international excellence of new and emerging talents. The Golden Award acts as motor for new trends in e-content and creative industries. Among the winners are young creatives from Germany, US, Republic of Korea, India and Brazil, using the platform as an opportunity to show their work to leading international experts.
The jury was this year online and consisted of 36 personalities from 20 countries. Among them are CEOs of advertising agencies, creative directors, global marketing and communication managers of international clients, and media designers. Jury Chairs were, among others: Luis Silva Dias, CEO of FCB International; Izabella Cabral, global associate creative director at TBWA/Worldwide; Frank Bodin, president at Art Directors Club Switzerland; Jonathan Fussel, creative director at Energy BBDO Chicago, Leif Johannsen, general manager Creation, Serviceplan Campaign Hamburg; Adam Kerj, chief creative officer at Accenture Interactive Nordics and Ajay Chandwani, president at Percept H, India.
The Golden Award of Montreux only awards Gold prizes - there is no Silver or Bronze. Only the best shines.
