The GIST Is Donating Tampons for Every Stroke Tiger Woods Takes at the Masters

Tiger Woods recently made headlines for handing Justin Thomas a tampon after outdriving him - inferring he was playing like a woman. The Gist is giving Tiger the chance to give away more tampons, except this time to communities that actually need them. 

As seen in this social post here, The Gist is launching the Tiger Tamponathon by donating one box of tampons for every stroke Tiger Woods takes at the Masters Tournament. 

The Gist entered the conversation a few weeks ago by publishing a series of social posts in response to Tiger’s actions that feature tampons with stats of female golfers that have bested their male counterparts. Now they are taking it a step further to inspire action through donations. 

The Gist is calling on other brands and organisations to join in on the cause by donating to the Tiger Tamponathon (the website goes live at 9:00 am EST on April 6th, 2023 to coincide with the first day of the Masters Tournament). All donations will go directly to Period Promise BC, a United Way initiative.
