Musical trio The FaNaTix have launched the official video for their dynamic track 'Vroom', directed by FILFURY and co-directed by Charlie Sarsfield of Untold Studios, and starring the likes of Idris Elba, Lil Tjay, Davido, Koffee, and Moelogo. 'Vroom' features on the Gran Turismo 7 soundtrack and the turbo-charged film - which showcases some of the world’s most expensive cars - perfectly embodies the excitement and speed of the franchise.
Speaking about his experience directing the video, FILFURY comments: “VROOM – what an incredible project to bring to life and steer to the finish line….SKRRRRT!! A bad boy tune that demanded bad boy visuals. The FaNaTix made a banger. How else do you visualize a song about the sickest vehicles in the world, other than by creating an image palette rich in color, texture, adrenaline and, most importantly, cars with attitude. I wanted the images to bounce to the beat, bring the energy levels up and throw in some wheel-spin burnouts for good vibes.”
He adds: “The combination of artists on the track was next level and commanded impeccable visuals. I always push for the highest level of craft and execution and I couldn’t have done this one alone. This was a truly global production of epic proportions, six artists, five shoots, three cities (LA, London, Lagos) with some of the most expensive cars on the planet. Huge shout out to Josh Davies our executive producer and the whole Untold Studios crew. My first project at Untold, kicking things off with a bang! The production and post-production was all done in-house across the London and LA studios. Special mention to Charlie Sarsfield who was my ears and eyes on the ground in London (an incredibly talented director who I couldn’t have done this without). Thanks to all the artists who were amazing to work with and big up the labels for trusting me with this vision. Looking forward to riding again!”
