This rebellious Italian director is a punk rocker who’s partial to a bit of Caravaggio and the comfort of a green sofa
Edoardo Lugari was a drummer in a hardcore punk band in the mid ‘90s. He then went on to study sociology. Looking back, he thinks he chose that subject in order to understand why he had ended up a punk rocker. It didn’t help Edoardo get any answers but he stayed punk and ended up directing music videos for the bands he knew. Eventually he found himself directing commercials for international brands like Dove, Tampax, Fiat and Sky.
