The emPOWER Breakfast Launches Groundbreaking Men's Series

The emPOWER Breakfast, known for creating supportive spaces for authentic networking and conversation, announces the launch of emPOWERMENt - The Men's Series, a ground-breaking initiative designed to create an open platform for men to share their experiences and challenges in the creative industries.

This innovative series features four extraordinary speakers who will share their personal journeys with vulnerability and courage, offering perspectives that challenge traditional narratives around masculinity and success in the industry.

The series kicks off on April 2nd with Barny Wright, MD and co-founder of No.8 London, who will share his powerful journey through six years of sobriety, processing family loss, and supporting his daughter through multiple surgeries. Barny's story exemplifies resilience and the importance of maintaining equilibrium in the face of profound challenges.

On June 6th, James Hayhurst, former agency MD and global brand equity director at Unilever, will discuss his experience founding the Magic Sauce Course and the Parents Promise initiative. James’ session will explore how personal challenges, including navigating divorce and parenting a non-verbal autistic child, can be transformed into positive change.

The August 6th session features Perry Power, actor and entrepreneur, founder of Be Powerful. Perry's courageous discussion about surviving childhood abuse and his work helping other survivors reclaim their voices promises to break important ground in addressing trauma and healing.

Concluding the series on November 12th, Matt Craigie Atherton, founder and head of production at New Commercial Arts and a prominent advocate for equal rights and LGBTQ+ inclusion in the industry, will address "Pride in Leadership: Creating Inclusive Agency Culture from Within."
