It may not be strictly advertising, but we couldn’t celebrate the best of Australian and New Zealand creativity without a nod to one of our favourite Aussie productions of late - The Elegant Gentleman's Guide To Knife Fighting (EGGKF). Produced by Sydney-based production company Jungleboys and a number of its roster's directors (including LBB New Talent pick Alethea Jones), EGGKF is a six-part comedy sketch show that was first aired in Australia. With Little Black Book headquarters stationed in London and Hong Kong, we're not privy to the show's full episodes. However the lovely folk at Jungleboys have blessed us with a number of short skits/snippets from the series. Our gift to you, courtesy of Jungleboys, is this selection of our favourites.
'We're Pregnant': A father struggles to come to terms with his daughter's pregnancy with her husband. He put 'what' 'where'?
'Birds And The Bees': A young boy bravely confides in his dad about the most awkward of subjects - girls and the birds and the bees - much to the father's disgust.
'Teddy McGiggle': This is the story of a man, Teddy McGiggle, who really falls into the trap of taking his work home - so much so that it puts an end to his relationship.
'Something To Get Off My Chest': A couple with communications problems struggle to get their heads round a new arrival.
'Porn Health & Safety': Porn loses all of its sex appeal when a director encounters the wrath of a very over-protective health and safety officer. Talk about a sticky ending.
