It only takes a single person to come up with an idea. But for an idea to become a great one, it needs the help of many. Legendary ideas are fed by many perspectives, touched by many hands and shaped by many minds. CCO’s, clients, sr. art directors, jr. copywriters, finance guys, HR people, partners, friends, people for all corners of the world and all walks of life. Clio wants to celebrate every single person that was part of a winning idea - it doesn’t matter the place, the race or the background. Everyone deserves to be celebrated, because ideas are made by many.
Carlos Andres Rodriguez, global creative director, MullenLowe Global said, “Anyone who works as a creative has seen incredible ideas that never go anywhere. Great ideas are nothing without a group of passionate people who are willing to do anything to make them happen. When you get into the back stories of how the best ideas are made you realize how difficult it really is and that it takes so many hearts, and minds and hands to get it done. The work awarded at the Clios acknowledges not only the greatness of the work but all the people who kept pushing to make something worthy of our creative industry.”
