Technology, Humans and Taste [THAT], is a creative innovation company based in New York that designs solutions for brands and people in a world filled with unsolved problems. Together with Alt Labs, the experimental arm of Altimeter Group, a strategic advisory firm that builds resilience through creativity, they set out to tackle the world’s current unsolved problem.
The world’s current unsolved problem? The looming, 'return to office' conversation.
To create an honest conversation around this top-of-mind debate, THAT and Altimeter created a 'hybrid' campaign running across social media called 'Work From Wherever' including both virtual and IRL components.
It kicks off with a series of hilarious, relatable spots that expose just how confused we are about our WFH/Return to Office life, from asking WTF is a 'hybrid' model, to considering life without a mute button, how annoying hot-desking is to using emojis in real life and dealing with your coworkers' cheesy and unsanitary eating habits IRL.
To make it easier to deal with the transition, THAT and Altimeter is also introducing the Work From Wherever Collection which transforms all your favorite digital WFH tools like virtual backgrounds and the mute button, into beautifully designed and limited edition objects, including non-virtual background posters, engraved wooden emoji cubes and IRL concrete mute buttons.
The collection will be available at workfromwherever.shop beginning today. Available IRL and digitally so you can work from wherever. NFTs are available on OpenSea.
For a limited time only, you can enter your stressed out boss into a giveaway for an entire Work From Wherever Collection - winner decides if they want the entire collection of physical products for IRL or digital 3D rendered NFTs for the metaverse. Just drop in their name and email into our giveaway on workfromwherever.shop. Winner will be emailed Nov 1st.
Julia Gorbach, director of originals THAT, comments: “No one has an answer for the future of work. So, we approached it as a question: what if we could bring all of the digital tools we’ve been using during covid into the physical work space? That led us to these beautiful objects meant to provoke conversation to help bosses, employees, entrepreneurs, and freelancers alike collectively decide what the future looks like.”
Work From Wherever Collection was conceived and created by THAT Originals and Alt Labs at Altimeter Group, as satirical technology to help teams transition and design a new way of working post-covid.view more - Creative
