th2ng Signs Director Michael Baldwin

Live action production company, th2ng (pronounced ‘thing two’), part of th1ng Group, announced the addition of Michael Baldwin to its roster of directors. The award-winning director joins th2ng from Gas & Electric, where he shot and directed videos for a wide range of artists. 

“Everyone at th2ng is excited to have Michael join our team,” commented Hannah Cooper, Executive Producer at th2ng. “His talent for directing and previous experience makes him the perfect addition for our growing company.” 

Michael began his career as an editor for music videos and commercials in Soho. His first directing gig – a spec-type commercial for radio station XFM – caught the attention of a prominent magazine for the creative industry, where he was named “One to Watch.” Throughout his career, Michael’s worked with prominent artists such as Travis, Olly Murs, Anna Calvi, Gary Go and The Dave Matthews Band.

Having won several Promax awards, Michael’s role as Senior Creative at itvCreative, where he was an integral part of the recent itv rebrand, provides him a thorough understanding of the conception, creation and execution of a client’s campaign.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Wales and currently resides in London. In addition to directing, he enjoys photography and graphic design.
