Talent Republic, the UK’s leading independent talent brokering consultancy has re-launched - a decade on from its inception.
Founded by Anne Batz in 2006, Talent Republic has since established itself as the UK’s leading consultancy in this specialist area; thinking both creatively and strategically to identify and secure famous international names for agencies and brands including BBH, AMVBBDO, BT, Virgin Media and Tesco. This covers A-list talent from film, TV, fashion, music and sport, as well as global influencers and rising stars.
As part of a company-wide revamp, Talent Republic has expanded its senior team by appointing Jody Allison as Managing Partner, and totally overhauled its branding and website.
The company sponsored the Advertising Agency of the Year award at last night's 40th British Arrows Awards, and invited Stanley Tucci on-stage to present the award to AMVBBDO. Sweeping the board at the awards was ‘Spare The Act’, AMVBBDO’s acclaimed series of Christmas commercials for Currys PC World’s starring Jeff Goldblum. Talent Republic led the talent search for the multi award-winning campaign, securing the Hollywood star for the much-loved spots that picked up a host of gold and silver awards, as well as the coveted Commercial of the Year award.
Anne Batz, Founder and CEO, comments: “What an amazing night. I was so thrilled Stanley could join us. I’ve been a huge fan of Stanley’s ever since Big Night, the seminal foodie movie which he also co-wrote and directed. It was also a thrill to see AMVBBDO win, as we have worked together for the past seven years. Their campaign for Currys with Jeff was a great experience all-round, and Jeff could not have been more enthusiastic, which shone through on-screen.
“It’s been an interesting journey over the past 10 years to see how the appetite for brands to work with established talent has grown, and it’s continuing to move from strength to strength right now. So all in all a very exciting time for Talent Republic to be pushing ahead with our growth and expansion.”
As part of the relaunch, the company has appointed Jody Allison as Managing Partner. Having most recently held the position of Head of Creative Production & Film at RKCR/Y&R, Jody initially comes on board to expand the company’s UK client base as it aims to cement its position as the number one talent brokering agency in the UK.
Most recently, Talent Republic worked with AMV on their ‘Behind the Scenes’ campaign for BT, securing Ewan McGregor and Rebel Wilson, and BBH on their launch campaign for Tesco, securing Ruth Jones and Ben Miller.
