SYZYGY, a trusted partner to the creative advertising industry, now offers on-demand production support to bolster back-office operations and lower overhead costs for agencies and production companies seeking a competitive edge. Expanding beyond its renowned accounting, CFO consulting, and HR offerings, SYZYGY’s production services are led by newly-appointed head of production services, Rebecca Siegel. A former executive producer, Rebecca will spearhead this initiative, advancing SYZYGY’s commitment to supporting innovative production companies with reliable, scalable solutions.
SYZYGY’s production services department offers expert fractional labour from seasoned production managers and heads of production, providing flexible back-office support when and where it’s needed. This new service strengthens SYZYGY’s holistic approach to providing operational solutions for a shifting production landscape, enabling companies to tailor services to each project’s specific needs. By lightening the administrative load, SYZYGY’s production support offers an agile and scalable solution - essential for success in today’s rapidly evolving marketplace.
Rebecca Siegel brings a wealth of experience to her role, combining her deep knowledge of production operations with her executive producer background. Based in New York City, Rebecca’s impressive career includes founding roles at Harbor Picture Company and Prodigious, where she served as head of production and executive producer. During this time, she collaborated with internationally recognised agencies and global brands - including Toyota, AmEx, Firestone, Citigroup, Walmart, S&P Global, Goodwill, Goldfish, Bridgestone, and more - to produce memorable, impactful campaigns. She is especially proud of her work focused on women’s empowerment and tackling critical issues like period poverty, HIV awareness, and body positivity.
With Rebecca at the helm, SYZYGY is pioneering a first-of-its-kind production service that’s unmatched in the market and designed to deliver seamless, cost-effective, tailored support to the ambitious needs of production companies across the industry.
“My goal is to create a division that continues to help our clients,” says Rebecca on joining SYZYGY and establishing the production services department. “I'm excited to get to know our existing clients and engage with the larger production community on a new opportunity for collaboration. I plan to grow this new division organically and bring in a wonderful staff while staying at the forefront of industry evolution and navigating market forces. The people at SYZYGY, the company mission, innovation, and creativity are all inspiring. There’s such a need for SYZYGY’s services in our industry, and I love that I once again get to help build something and go where I'm needed. To have the support and community of such intelligent, like-minded, collaborative, driven, and fun people is so special.”
Tyler Burr, COO and co-founder of Syzygy, said, “Over the past two years, as the industry has shifted in the wake of evolving technology, we’ve seen many of our clients enter a cyclical ebb and flow of work – it’s always either not enough or far too much. Our goal in accounting and HR has been to offer a solution to this feast-or-famine cycle that allows for success and growth throughout every season, and the key to that is fractionalising operational labour. By offering a production service that can easily alternate between hibernation mode and overdrive, we’re offering our clients the ability to do what they do best, with the support they need to excel, without bulking out their staff and exorbitantly increasing overhead costs. Rebecca is the perfect person to lead this: she’s an ideal blend of production maven and entrepreneur, truly loves our community, and is immensely motivated to find ways to support it through its current sea change. We couldn’t be more excited to have her lead the next evolution of SYZYGY.”
