Karin Drakenberg, co-founder of StrawberryFrog, has announced the promotion of Craig Love to Executive Creative Director, a newly created role in the agency.
"Craig helped steer StrawberryFrog's global Effie winning Jim Beam 'Make History' movement and this past June helped us scoop a Gold Lion for our OutTheMonster.Org cultural movement for Swedish pharma company Orexo. He also led brilliant work to help Sabra become the dominant hummus brand in the category and global campaigns for Reebok."
Love will report to CCO and co-founder Scott Goodson and will continue collaborating with longtime partner Shayne Millington, who he calls “the most intuitive and gifted creative director I’ve even known.”
Swedish co-founder of StrawberryFrog, Karin Drakenberg calls Love “someone with a real modern sensibility and creative vision, who is amazing with people. Working in Sweden I grew up with some amazing creative leaders, Craig is one of the best I've had the pleasure of working with."
“I’m thrilled to be taking on a leadership role at StrawberryFrog at a time when we’ve got some incredible new creative opportunities," commented Love on his promotion. "One of the things that I love about StrawberryFrog is that it has a strong sense of identity. There’s a particular vibe here that leads to work and solutions that clients just aren’t going to get anywhere else. Not every agency has that. Scott has been at the forefront of creating movements for almost twenty years now. He knew traditional advertising wasn’t the only solution way before people could DVR past commercials. It’s great to work somewhere with that kind of vision.”
