Stopp Family has hired the award-winning creative Bo Gustavsson as its new Global Creative Technical Director.
Gustavsson, the former Technical Director at Farfar, will help lead all of Stopp’s production output globally and will work across the company's interactive, content and post production disciplines.
He will also help lead the network's technical development in the US, working alongside Fredrik Montan Frizell, the Chief Executive of Stopp LA, and Ola Björling, the Director of Creative Technology at Stopp New York. He will report into Pasi Helin, the Chief Executive of Stopp Family.
Gustavsson joins Stopp from Colony, the Swedish Agency Production Company, where was Head of Digital for two years. The move marks a return to Stopp for Gustavsson, who was Technical Director at Stopp LA between 2011 and 2012, before joining Colony.
Gustavsson worked at Farfar for seven years, between 2003 and 2010. He has worked on numerous award-winning campaigns throughout his career, including Farfar’s “Heidie’s 15 MB of Fame” campaign for Diesel which won a Grand Prix at Cannes in 2007. He has produced and directed work for top brands such as Toyota, Lincoln, Chevrolet, Google, Dickies, Acura, Absolut Vodka, Electrolux, IKEA, Discovery, Nokia, and McDonalds.
