MANORS, the brand that was created three years ago to put a sense of style and adventure back into the sport of golf, is rebranding with a new identity by Stink Studios that puts the focus on performance goods, purpose-made for the course.
In keeping with its explorer mindset, the brand’s new core logo is the Mblem, a design that skilfully incorporates 18 holes. In addition to this core identity, Stink has created 18 bespoke patterns, each based on a hole map from a different course around the UK, including famous British Open venues such as St Andrews Old Course, Royal Portrush and Royal Liverpool.
To create these different patterns, Stink built a generative design system to assign letters to the various levels of terrain on the individual holes, giving each of the 18 designs a distinct but consistent appearance. The lightness of the patterns balances the boldness of the core identity.
Luke Davies, founder of MANORS, said: “MANORS represent a new generation of golfers - players looking to travel and explore the frontiers of the game, rather than being content to play their local course week in, week out. Our visual identity captures this spirit perfectly.”
The rebranding comes after three years of successful growth at MANORS, including popular collaborations with Adidas (and The Open). MANORS is taking golf attire to a whole new level, shaking up traditional golf wear to introduce new materials, new accessories and new seasonal edits that are inspired by the classic silhouettes of golf, but add performance enhancement and personality into the mix.
Stink’s new identity reflects the shift from golf as a lifestyle brand to a new image that embraces fashion and reflects the big characters, expansive landscapes and relaxed silhouettes of a sport that is all about expression, joy and style.view more - Hires, Wins & BusinessStink Films, Fri, 24 Mar 2023 11:08:00 GMT
