Kesselman joins from global consultancy Communispace

Global digital agency Deep Focus has hired Steve Kesselman to serve as General Manager of the Cassandra Report, the foremost decision-making tool for the world’s top companies and brands seeking to engage young consumers.

Based in the agency’s New York headquarters, Kesselman will oversee the report in its entirety across content, business development and production operations. He will also assume responsibility for Cassandra Live events and the Cassandra Daily newsletter.

“Deep Focus is dedicated to producing quality content that is both strategic and engaging in nature and provides unique insights into the behaviors, preferences and attitudes of today’s young consumers,” said CMO Jamie Gutfreund. “Steve’s expertise in design, technology, research and storytelling complements the work we do at Deep Focus and we’re thrilled to bring him on board.”

Kesselman joins Deep Focus from global consultancy Communispace, where for nearly four years he managed teams and delivered business consulting, research, analysis, reporting and design as Associate Director of Consumer & Client Services. Kesselman was also a member of the leadership team for the company in New York where he helped improve efficiency and collaboration to better serve Communispace’s clientele.

“The quality, leading-edge insight Deep Focus is uncovering via the Cassandra Report is unmatched,” said Kesselman. “Helping companies and brands reach younger generations is a personal passion and I look forward to developing new, innovative ways to expand this premier tool.”

Kesselman has held previous planning and strategy positions at some of the country’s leading agencies, including BBDO and Arnold, and worked with iconic brands including Unilever, Microsoft, Anheuser-Busch and Nestlé. Originally from Connecticut, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
