Spin, the fast-growing independent agency, has appointed Alyssa Drysdale as the new managing director of Spin, the group's flagship creative social agency.
Alyssa joined Spin at the start of 2024 and has quickly become instrumental in the agency’s evolution. With a background rooted in strategic leadership and operational excellence, she has played a key role in professionalising the agency’s offering without losing its creative spark or entrepreneurial spirit.
Her promotion marks a significant milestone for Spin as it continues to scale globally, with more than 75 full-time employees across the UK, AU, LATAM and EU, and a growing roster of global clients including Google, LVMH, Fujifilm and Paramount.
Under Alyssa’s leadership, Spin has transformed from what CEO and co-founder Alex Bodini describes as a “scrappy if somewhat chaotic social media agency” into a world-class partner for some of the world’s most exciting brands. Her appointment will allow Alex to focus more on the broader Spin Group, following the recent acquisition of Be A Bear - an audience strategy agency whose clients include MTV, Channel 5, and Comedy Central.
Speaking on the appointment, Alex said, “Alyssa has brought an incredible amount of expertise, knowledge and energy to the business. The appointment comes during a period of strong momentum for Spin Group, following its recent launch of SpaRk, a 360° ad creative arm, and further international expansion plans in the pipeline.
