Sparkling Water Brand Güitig Launches Series of Unreapeatable Ads

Campaign from MullenLowe Delta highlights how the brand is the only naturally carbonated volcanic water

The vast majority of sparkling water brands available are artificially carbonated, through an industrial process similar to soda, but that’s not the case with Güitig. In the heart of the Andes, a unique, mineral-rich water is born. Thanks to the melting of the Cotopaxi volcano, a stream of water travels through underground passages, emerging in Machachi, Ecuador. Through a natural process, the water becomes infused with soft bubbles, transforming into naturally carbonated water - just like only 1% of the waters in the world. In South America, it is the only naturally carbonated volcanic water. This is the origin of Güitig.

And to show this uniqueness and tell the world that’s not two bottles of Güitig are alike, it put words aside and let everyone witness its extraordinary origin in real time. Güitig placed a camera deep within our natural spring and broadcasted live every bubble that emerges from the volcanic rock, showing the different shapes they take - never the same as the previous one, just like each bottle.

In addition to broadcasting the birth of each bubble, Güitig captured frames of every second of this unique and exclusive content created by nature, which Delta MullenLowe transformed into an out-of-home (OOH) campaign, print ads, and unrepeatable digital content that was shared across social media.

“When a product is this unique, sometimes words are unnecessary. That’s what happened with Güitig. We realised the best thing to do was show its incredible origin and from that, create unrepeatable ads - ads created by nature itself,” said José Lizarzaburu, chief creative director at Delta.

“Each bubble that rises from the heart of Machachi tells an unrepeatable story. At Güitig, we believe that authenticity cannot be manufactured—it is born from nature. With ‘Unrepeatable Ads,’ we wanted to make the invisible visible, showing in real time the volcanic origin of our water and honouring its unique character. Just as no two bubbles are the same, no two bottles of Güitig are the same: each one is an authentic expression of the extraordinary,” said Gert Stepan, head of waters – South America at Beliv.

And that’s how the Unrepeatable Ads campaign was born. And with every passing second, thousands of unrepeatable ads continue to be created - just like every bottle of Güitig in the world.
