SPAM and BBDO Minneapolis are turning up the heat for their latest campaign, with three new TV spots featuring the unmistakable sizzling sound of the iconic canned meat. To expand the brand’s appeal, the spots showcase recipes specifically aimed at younger, multicultural consumers.
One couple is seen enjoying a SPAM-based ramen dish in 'Love Triangle' whilst 'Pork' suggests making a taco with the iconic meat. 'Toast' features the creation of a SPAM and cheese toasted sandwich.
The food-centric spots sign off with a simple acronym for what SPAM stands for: Sizzle. Pork. And. MMM. The new spots will run on national cable as well as online video and social media.
