Imagine a banker asking you to close your eyes? It’s what Solve did for this new campaign for Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), breaking this week in the United Arab Emirates, and on select international flights from the UK into the country. The campaign features a range of customers, all with eyes closed. It’s called “Ambition Visualized."
ADCB is a leading bank in the UAE, with aspirations to play on a larger scale, both in and outside the high-net worth region. The new campaign, directed by Michael Marantz of Los Angeles-based production company Persuade, asks customers to focus on their ambitions. It uses the line, “if you can visualize it, we can help you get there.” The striking, cinematic feel creates a highly unusual and engaging emotional connection. It’s the largest effort ever undertaken by ADCB including broadcast, cinema, print, OOH and digital. The work is beautiful and emotional, and very fresh for a bank.
