Minneapolis agency Solve has partnered with the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota in an effort to inspire those affected by epilepsy and educate the general public on the condition.
Using an “I’m Wired To...” theme and powerful visual portrait composition, the campaign demonstrates that people with epilepsy have passions, interests, hopes and dreams like everyone – they also happen to have seizures. Epilepsy hasn’t deterred their ability to successfully pursue their ambitions, regardless of the challenges they face. The campaign introduces an empowering tagline, “Rise Above Seizures.”
By featuring people with epilepsy, the campaign encourages everyone living with seizures to celebrate and share how they’re “wired” and refuse to let epilepsy define who they are. In addition to print, the campaign includes radio, social, a website content generator, “I’m Wired To...” personal stickers (to be completed and worn by people affected by epilepsy) and posters and kits for doctors’ offices and pharmacies. The campaign breaks this week across Minnesota.
“With 1 in 10 people having a seizure during their lifetime, the stigma that surrounds epilepsy needs to be addressed,” said John Colasanti, Solve CEO. “We’re honored to work with EFMN on their vital mission of supporting and enabling those affected by epilepsy and driving broader public education.”
Samples of the “I’m Wired To...” campaign (two print/poster executions and a personal sticker) are included on the subsequent pages.
