Sohonet, a leading international provider of connectivity, collaboration software, media services and network security for the media and entertainment industry, will have a significant presence at the upcoming HPA Tech Retreat from March 15th-24th, 2021. Sohonet CEO Chuck Parker will share insights on remote collaboration; the company’s experts will lead roundtable discussions on March 16th, 23rd, and 24th; and Sohonet’s award-winning services and technologies will be featured in the Innovation Zone.
On March 15th, the panel “Don't Look Back: Remote Collaboration and its Continued Revolution of the Way We Work” will feature the top minds behind award-winning remote technology, including Chuck, Teradici’s Harpreet Singh and BeBop’s David Benson. Moderated by industry journalist Adrian Pennington, the apropos discussion will focus on the latest trends and transformations that are taking shape as a result of the pandemic.
Roundtable sessions will take place throughout the HPA Tech Retreat. Sohonet VP of Engineering Patrick Sumby will share his expertise at ‘Remote Collaboration for Finishing / DI Reviews’ (March 16th, 12-1 PM PDT). Chuck will offer insights during the roundtable on “Remote Collaboration for Production” (March 23rd, 12-1 PM PDT).
Sumby also will lead a conversation on “Solving Network Challenges in a WFH Distributed World” (March 24th, 9-10 AM PDT).
The Sohonet team will also participate in the Innovation Zone, a curated area where industry leading technologies can be explored. Sohonet will showcase both their Emmy-Award winning, real-time, remote review tool ClearView Flex and ClearView Pivot. Both tools are designed to bring remote teams together in a secure, studio-approved ecosystem and are currently being utilised across production and post workflows.
