The Dutch music agency is set to storm the beaches of Cannes with its first-ever big bash. Together with Filmservice and production company 100%Halal, Sizzer Amsterdam presents Prince vs. Michael Jackson on Plage Goeland. DJ Spinna will play Michael and Prince tracks back to back for two hours - honoring the two musical icons .
Sizzer is all about the music, but we see music as part of a larger culture. Exactly this is what makes Prince and Michael so interesting. They are icons that have influenced the arts, fashion, advertising, politics and culture in the broadest sense of the word.
The website shows exactly this by generating movies of Prince on the left and Michael on the right. The films include music videos, but also interviews and parodies and portray how these icons have touched all these other elements of culture.
