Seven Sunday Films Captures the Spirit of Adventure for Gudang Garam

Seven Sunday Films has recently completed aspirational campaign ‘The Birds’ for Gudang Garam Signature Mild via agency Dentsu Strat. 

Shot in Bali, Indonesia, the commercial is directed by Sebastien Guy and follows the journey of a ‘Signature Man’ and his partner as they set off on an adventure to experience the pleasures of life’s ordinary but extraordinary moments.

“This campaign film is really an insight into the feeling of exploring and embracing unforgettable journeys,” says director Sebastien Guy. 

Speaking to the sense of adventure and energy that the Gudang Garam Signature Mild brand aims to encapsulate, the film showcases stunning mountain scenes, winding coastal highways and secluded hideaway beaches.

“In depicting an experience, we wanted to create a sense of immersion and inclusion into this world of adventure,” Guy explains. “There’s a cinematic intimacy at play here – we are celebrating real, human moments and including the viewer in the distinct energy of this world, its promise and atmosphere.”
