When you’re working together and having fun, Silver Queen is the delicious go-to snack in director Abimael Gandy’s (Seven Sunday Films) latest commercial via agency Arcade Indonesia.
Commissioned for client PT Ceres Indonesia and titled ‘Tree House’, the light-hearted campaign is a celebration of Indonesia’s oldest, most beloved and best-selling chocolate brand.
Introduced in the 1950s, the Silver Queen slogan has been known and celebrated for over 40 years, and this commercial is the treasured brand’s comeback and the first commercial to air in over six years.
Based in Jakarta and previously helming campaigns for international names, Gandy also has extensive experience working with some of Indonesia's most iconic brands. As such, he was the natural choice for the country's most popular chocolate treat.
Gandy worked closely with director of photography, John Alfirevich, to create a colourful and uplifting campaign that sees a group of friends come together to build the perfect tree house. An upbeat soundtrack that completes the spot’s fun-filled atmosphere compliments the campaign.
Says Seven Sunday Films executive producer Rachel Srisumarsih: “It was a delight to work on this fresh storyline that proves relax is not complete without a Silver Queen. We had a fantastic client and a top tier creative crew to collaborate alongside and I look forward to audience reactions to this sweet celebration of fun and friendship.”
