Mass Minority produces the four-month-long campaign for the Mattress-in-a-Box, available exclusively at Canadian Tire

Serta Simmons has launched a national campaign for their Mattress-in-a-Box, available exclusively at Canadian Tire. The four-month-long campaign produced by Mass Minority production studios will be hyper-targeted and launched through paid digital and social media channels nationwide, with both English and French versions available.

The campaign highlights a universal truth many people experience when buying a new mattress, and the eternal struggle of moving it from the store to one’s home. Most will compromise convenience for quality and a better night’s sleep when purchasing a mattress, this spot aims to dispel the myth that you have to compromise at all. Mass Minority’s creative director for the spot, Simon Duffy, communicates this struggle through the strenuous effort of two men trying to fit a large mattress up a narrow flight of stairs. Only to encounter a next-door neighbor who has purchased a much more convenient option, Serta’s Mattress-in-a-Box.

The comedic exchange between neighbors underlines the main takeaway for the spot, you shouldn’t have to compromise quality for the sake of convenience when purchasing a mattress. The spot kicks off the launch of the new Serta Chinook Mattress-in-a-Box which is available exclusively at Canadian Tire stores nationwide.
