Mass Minority has announced a key hire as it embarks on the next stage of its evolution, with Cheryl Gosling joining the technology driven full service agency as president.
Gosling has established a reputation for helping independent shops grow by skillfully coupling their brand-building efforts seamless with media and data analytics. Her career has included stops at some of the country’s best-known independents, including King Ursa, No Fixed Address, and Cundari, as well as network shops including Leo Burnett and BBDO.
Mass Minority appealed to Gosling because of its integrated nature and the fact that it is fueled by a proprietary tool called Bam Analytix, a patented technology that provides real-time end-to-end marketing performance intelligence.
Bam Analytix operates independently from Mass Minority, and is not included in Gosling’s purview, but the division does underpin the agency’s creative media offering. While already familiar with Mass Minority’s integrated set-up, Gosling said that Bam Analytix provides an interesting new dimension that can be used to help the 50-person shop attract new talent and clients. “It’s differentiating to have a proprietary tool that we can use from end to end — from client insights all the way through to reporting in one place,” she says. “An integrated agency with data on steroids and I’m thrilled to be working with them on their growth and evolution..”
Mass Minority founder and CEO Brett Channer said he has watched Gosling’s rise through the industry, and heard positive impressions of her from industry colleagues. “I knew she was the right person to champion businesses eager to make data-informed decisions towards improving their marketing effectiveness and efficiencies.”
Gosling joins a senior leadership team at Mass Minority’s holding company that, in addition to Channer, includes managing partner Christine McArthur, who will focus on a new vertical growth opportunity initiated out of Mass Minority’s Austin office.
