OgilvyAction Australia has announced the appointment of one of the
country’s most dynamic activation and promotional agency leaders, Sean Taylor.
Taylor previously owned one of Australia’s largest independent activation agencies prior to its acquisition by the Photon Group, now Enero. Sean left Photon as Group CEO Activation.
He joins in the role of CEO of OgilvyAction Australia.
The global strength and backing of OgilvyAction coupled with Taylor’s expertise and leadership will create a dominant share of the activation business in the Australian market, according to Andrew Egan, General Manager, Growth Companies, Ogilvy.
“Sean spearheading OgilvyAction’s Australian team presents an exciting future for him and the company,” Egan said.
“With a mutual goal on accelerated growth across a broad range of categories, OgilvyAction has unique abilities for new and current clients. There is huge scope of opportunity in the shopper and activation space and we are very excited about rapidly growing our market share in partnership with Sean and his team,” he continued.

The agency’s specialist capabilities encompasses Shopper Marketing that goes beyond product and price; Trade Marketing that builds on customer relationships; Experiential Marketing that emotionally connects brands with consumer; and Promotional marketing that drives brand equity alongside sales.
As in any Ogilvy offering, tailoring solutions that connect with and activate today’s consumer and shopper are founded on creativity, digital competency, measurement and analytics.
“OgilvyAction now boasts considerable additional strength and offerings to the market. Sean’s mandate is to build the best activation team in the country,” Egan said.
Taylor said he was excited about joining OgilvyAction at a time of exponential growth in the activation and shopper marketing industries.

I am genuinely excited by the opportunity and look forward to the challenges that lay ahead.”
