This week Saddington Baynes joined the world in celebrating International Women’s Day. However, it doesn't believe the appreciation of the outstanding strengths, skills and accomplishments of women should be limited to a single day.
A study by Boston Consulting Group revealed that female-led start-ups earned 78 cents in revenue for every dollar invested, compared to the 31 cents generated by their male-led counterparts. Despite this, women still receive far less investment funding than men.
That’s why Saddington Baynes are using this #ThrowbackThursday to look back on some of the female-founded brands its had the pleasure of working with, and the inspirational women behind them.
We love collaborating with this elegant brand, founded by its namesake in 1946. From selling skincare and makeup in beauty salons, to owning an impressive portfolio of international brands, Estée Lauder is a prime example of what can come from starting small.
Check out our project featuring detailed hand modelling, rich and evocative environment design and beautifully considered lighting and visual effects, elegant as Estée herself!
Inspired by her father’s craft of luxury watchmaking, Marie Boutteçon herself soon became one to watch.
Her creative designs provide scope for highly imaginative CGI, and our collaboration with the brand features just that, with delicate bubbles and a coiling snake. Got the time? Check it out!
From humble beginnings in her kitchen, Jo Malone’s distinctive perfume is now a well-loved brand with a loyal following.
It has been our pleasure to work with this brand on producing full-CGI assets for all their latest collections. The results have been scent-sational!
Roxanne Quimby and Burt Shavitz co-founded Burt’s Bees when Roxanne found a book of recipes for the surplus beeswax from Burt’s honey business.
We were buzzing to work with them on this bee-utiful nature-inspired project, emphasising our shared passion for sustainability.
