Singaporean gamers were treated to a 3D fighting game projected onto a screen larger than two standard basketball courts in an interactive campaign for Huawei. The game took place at the world-renowned Suntec City-Fountain of Wealth in Singapore
The event was created to show off the power and resolution if Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD and Huawei Ascend D1 Quad-Core XL mobile phone. Huawei-lovers broke out their Huawei phones and used them as joysticks to play the fighting fame on a screen that measured close to 1000m2 screen. MediaPads were used as consoles and advanced projection technology was used to bring the bouts to the assembled crowds.
"We've always wanted to create an unprecedented experience for our customers,” said David Wan, leader of Huawei Device's digital marketing. "MediaPad 10 FHD and Ascend D1 quad-core XL are simply the best products that deliver such an extraordinary experience. Both are equipped with the quad-core processor developed by Huawei and their ultra-speed enables unfettered control experience, leading to this fantastic idea of outdoor super-large interactive gaming. We hope that we can realize this with our customers.”
The idea was implemented by the Saatchi & Saatchi China Labs team. Albert Lee, Business Director of Saatchi & Saatchi Labs, said, “We chose the world's largest fountain plaza - Fountain of Wealth in Singapore - to realize the idea. The projection from a plaza building to a large screen demonstrated, from all dimensions, the excellent performance of the Huawei China-made core, and people were all very excited about taking part in this huge interactive game.”
