Russia's Vokshod Make Mr. Yakubovich Very Sad

 

Ekaterinburg-based agency "Voshod" has developed a campaign for the cable television operator "Telekart TV". The main hero of this project is legendary showman and the irreplaceable Russian celebrity, of "Wheel of Fortune" fame, Leonid Yakubovich. 

 

 

The spot is done in a very sad and depressing manner, with fitting music to accompony it. The creative idea behind this is that the main hero is depressed that the audience overpays for cable television. "Do not make Leonig Arkadievich sad" - the voiceover states. 

 

"Telekart TV" is the youngest cable television package available in Russia, starting from October 2010. 

 

The spot was produced in Tel-Aviv, Israel with the help of Ooops Films. Hype Production produced the commercial, with young Irish director Stevie Russell bringing his own unique vision to the project. Post-production was done in the director's hometown of Dublin, with the support of Screen Scene's post production facilities.
