Rob Valley Brings His Stylised Animations to Passion Pictures

Rob Valley, acclaimed artist, director and animator, has recently joined creative studio Passion Pictures. With an impressive portfolio ranging from Gorillaz iconic music videos to Disney’s Tron: Uprising, Rob is an exciting addition to the London-based production studio. Amongst his most recent achievements Rob has directed his first short film Pear Cider and Cigarettes, which has recently been nominated for an Annie Award and shortlisted for nomination at the 89th Academy Awards. He has also recently collaborated with Jamie Hewlett to co-direct Gorillaz Jaguar, a campaign which has launched Jaguar’s new Formula E car, and introduced Noodle as the company’s global ambassador to inspire young people to become future engineers and innovators.

Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Rob graduated from the Emily Carr College and quickly progressed within the industry through commercials and storyboarding on animated TV series. It is his extensive commercial success and creative expertise that make Rob Valley’s signing to Passion Pictures an exciting time for the studio.
