The up-and-coming directing duo Ben & Ilia, founders of Halifax, Nova Scotia-based Ilienfero Productions, who have garnered international attention at Cannes Lions with their YDA shortlisted branded film for MS Canada, 'Always Felt,' are thrilled to announce the rebranding of their creative studio under the new name Far & Away. This bold new identity reflects their spirit of adventure, their passion for the craft of storytelling and their desire to tell unmistakably sincere stories.

"Far & Away speaks to our journey as storytellers.” says co-founder and director Ben Consmueller, “It’s about leaping into the unknown, and bringing back stories that resonate with our shared humanity. For me, it represents both the intrepid spirit that started this company and the sincerity that drives our work today."

“Our roots as travel photographers formed the foundation of the path we’re on today,” added co-founder and executive producer Ilia Lipsman. “It’s a reminder that the best stories can come from unexpected places, and one can only find those by stepping beyond what’s comfortable, by venturing far and away.”

“And besides, we knew we needed a name that people could actually pronounce and remember,” adds Ben. “Lest we remain, ‘those guys from Halifax!’"
